Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Branford, CT is seeking a quality systems professional to manage the plant's QMS, ensure AS9100D and AS13100 compliance, and drive corrective actions on the shop floor. This hands-on role partners with management to meet quality objectives and customer requirements.

You will lead internal audits, manage MRB, review customer drawings, and oversee documentation and process improvements across manufacturing, with exposure to aerospace standards and export control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Export-control compliance required; U.S. work authorization.
• Experience in aerospace quality systems preferred; Nadcap/ASQC knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant QMS to meet AS9100D and AS13100 standards.
• Coordinate internal audits; manage MRB and corrective actions.
• Review customer specifications and blueprints; ensure proper production of parts.
