Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Branford, CT is seeking a qualified Quality Technician to monitor product, processes, and quality systems to assure compliance with Howmet and customer requirements.

The role involves analyzing products and processes, coordinating MRB actions, and supporting Met Lab and Inspection teams. You will also assist with audits and prepare nonconformity documentation as needed, while operating on-site in Branford.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two-years experience performing quality tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Access to export-controlled items; eligibility to obtain access required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze products and processes at various intervals using statistics and audits.
• Coordinate MRB actions and solicit concession responses from customers.
• Support Met Lab and Inspection teams with quality activities.
• Prepare shipments documentation and participate in PO reviews.
• Assist with NADCAP/internal/external audits and quality reporting.
