Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Stratford, CT, seeks a Production Quality Engineer to own root-cause investigations and drive continuous improvement across CH-53K, HH-60W, HH-60M, UH-60M, or MH-60R production lines. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Suppliers to ensure quality from design through delivery.

Ideal candidates bring disciplined data analysis, strong communication, and a track record of delivering robust QA solutions in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a matrix structure.
• Ability to analyze data for trends and identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with all levels.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts for QE processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide general product life cycle support for mission success.
• Drive product and process improvements in all production phases.
• Lead/root-cause and corrective action on manufactured and supplied parts.
• Generate and analyze quality metrics.
• Support First Article Inspections.
• Support product quality investigations and initiatives.
• Prepare reports for internal and external reviews.
• Generate Quality Standard Work and Specifications.
• Support production floor audits.
• Communicate and track deviations affecting product/processes across org levels.
• Participate in Continuous Corrective Action Boards (CCABs).
