Job summary

NR Consulting in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced Quality Engineer III for aerospace manufacturing. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role partnering with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to drive quality, continuous improvement, and production excellence.

You will lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, A3, DMAIC, and other quality methodologies, drive QMS compliance, and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and CAPAs while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience partnering with Manufacturing Engineering and production teams.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to resolve challenging quality concerns.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience (8D preferred).
• Experience writing and improving quality procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP/FAI, and CAPA.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities
