Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Industrial Construction team in a full-time role. The candidate will perform weld mapping, welding and piping inspections, and enter data into tracking tools while coordinating with NDE personnel for planning and execution.

You will review plans, ensure procedures comply, and support QA throughout projects. The position requires AWS CWI or ASNT VT II, strong NDT knowledge, and 5+ years of QC experience.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification.
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours.
• Experience generating turnover packages.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)
• 5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience.
• Experience working under a Quality Management Program.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Weld Map Isometric drawings
• Weld & piping Inspections
• Enter welding and inspection information into tracking tool
• Assist with pressure testing plans
• Review and File NDE/NDT Reports
• Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work
• Assemble and review project documentation packages
• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance
• Test welders and perform weld inspections
• Review welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply
• Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans
• Provide support and training to other inspectors
• Write inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)
