Job summary

Field Talent is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Project Team. This role ensures compliance with company SOPs, minimizes fabrication and installation errors, and collaborates with project teams to resolve quality issues.

The ideal candidate holds a CWI, has 10+ years of QC experience and 3+ years in leadership, with ASME Section IX BP&V knowledge, and proficient MS Office and documentation skills. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QC experience
• 8+ years in Quality Control (ASME B31 piping codes, construction, welding, NDT)
• 3+ years in leadership roles
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required
• SCWI preferred
• ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification preferred
• ASME IX BP&V Code expertise
• MS Office proficiency
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead quality inspections, reviews, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31 piping codes and industry standards.
• Oversee project-specific quality plans and audits.
• Train and mentor inspectors to align with company expectations.
• Work with General Contractors on inspection planning and compliance.
• Approve materials and assess vendor quality.
• Report and document quality assurance activities.
• Attend project meetings and provide quality-related updates.
