Job summary

LAMP seeks an experienced piping inspection professional to perform visual weld inspections, verify welder qualifications, and coordinate multidisciplinary NDE and hydrostatic testing. You will review reports, ensure procedures are followed, and maintain turnover documentation for complex process systems.

The ideal candidate has AWS CWI certification with 5+ years of industrial experience, strong ASME B31.3 and Section IX knowledge, and disciplined, legible documentation habits to ensure

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification and 5+ years of industrial piping and equipment inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ASME Section IX.
• Disciplined, legible, timely documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual weld inspection, verify welder qualifications and monitor compliance with approved weld procedures.
• Coordinate and witness radiographic, ultrasonic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing, and review reports.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests and complete test packages.
• Inspect equipment setting, bolt torque, gasket installation and flange makeup.
• Verify cleanliness, flushing and passivation of process systems.
• Raise, track and verify closure of non conformance reports.
• Maintain daily inspection records that feed the system turnover packages.
