Job summary

Mesa Labs, Inc. in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Quality Control Technician III to perform advanced inspections and tests, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous quality improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will use precision measurement tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards, while supporting audits and maintaining meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience in quality control or related field with significant inspection/test experience
• Knowledge of quality control principles and standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is desirable

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using advanced measurement tools
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results and test data; prepare quality reports with trends and corrective actions
• Identify deviations from quality standards and collaborate to implement corrective actions
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior technicians
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
