Job summary

Mesa Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Technician III in Bozeman, MT. You will perform advanced inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure strict quality standards.

You will lead QC activities, mentor junior technicians, and drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean methods while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of quality control principles and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
• Experience with advanced measurement tools and QC equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with Six Sigma/Lean is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare quality reports with trends and deviations.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions with QA leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of QC equipment; support audits.
