Job summary

Cavco Industries is seeking a Quality Control Manager to guide design and production to ensure high quality manufactured homes. You will oversee quality control programs, enforce regulatory codes, and coordinate training for the QA team.

You will manage documentation, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant, ensuring all homes meet ANSI, HUD, and IRC requirements prior to certification.

Qualifications

• 5 year’s relevant and related quality control experience working in the manufactured home industry is preferred.
• Experience working in the manufactured home industry is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality control and regulatory code programs for the plant.
• Ensures homes are complete in the proper station and compliant before labeling.
• Assembles cost control and statistical data.
• Develops approaches for ensuring output of high quality product.
• Maintains documentation and coordinates training of employees in TQM.
• Performs daily audits of departments for code and quality compliance.
