Job summary

SLS Federal Services in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to support NAVFAC Design-Build construction projects. The QC Manager acts as the independent authority to implement the CQC Program and ensure all work complies with contract documents, UFGS requirements, and NAVFAC standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will identify non-conforming work, require corrective actions, coordinate with NAVFAC QA personnel, and maintain QC logs and reports to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ten or more years of experience as a QC professional on construction projects valued at $25 million or greater.
• Experience implementing USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Control (CQC) Programs.
• USACE/NAVFAC CQM-C Certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Working knowledge of UFGS, Division 01, and federal construction quality requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for Government correspondence.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager in accordance with NAVFAC CQC requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project-Specific Quality Control Plan for Government review and acceptance.
• Ensure the CQC Program is fully implemented throughout design and construction.
• Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements prior to Government submission.
• Coordinate inspections, NCRs, and third‑party testing to support Government acceptance.
• Prepare and submit QC reports and maintain quality records for pay applications and final acceptance.
