Job summary

GY6 is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific QC program for Hawaii projects based in Honolulu. This role ensures contract compliance, timely documentation, and customer satisfaction, aligning with Kina’ole’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, daily site inspections, coordinating QC specialists and testing, and maintaining QC records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management with a minimum of 5 years construction experience as a Project Superintendent QC manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager.
• Must be familiar with USACE EM385-1-1.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and implements a project-specific quality control program in alignment with contract requirements.
• Conducts daily site observations, inspects work and materials, and coordinates non-conforming work actions.
• Manages submittal coordination and process with project team members.
• Coordinates on-site/off-site testing and inspections, and maintains QC documentation and logs.
• Trains, mentors, and leads project team members.
