Job summary

Doyon Energy Services is seeking a Quality Manager to lead project quality control for pipelines, rehab, and oilfield maintenance. You will administer the corporate QMS and tailor it to project needs, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory standards.

The role requires extensive QA/QC experience, certifications, and the ability to work across multiple sites in Alaska. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate required.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Substitution: 15 years QA/QC experience plus 2 years of management may replace education.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall project quality control management and leadership on pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
• Administer DES Corporate Quality Management System and tailor it to project requirements.
• Coordinate with client personnel, management, and subcontractors to prepare project quality plans and inspection requirements.
• Review resumes and assist with hiring/training of Quality Control personnel.
• Maintain documentation of QC/QA operations, inspections, and testing in accordance with project plans.

Education

AWS Certified Welding Inspector

NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field

15+ years QA/QC experience
