Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate required.
• NACE (AMPP) Coating Inspector preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field, or 15 years QA/QC experience plus 2 years of management experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the construction industry required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality control management on pipelines, rehabilitation of pipelines, and oilfield maintenance projects.
• Administer DES Corporate Quality Management System and tailor it to project requirements.
• Prepare project quality plans and inspection requirements with management and client personnel.
• Hire and train Quality Control personnel for construction activities.
• Maintain documentation of quality control and QA activities per contract documents and Quality Plans.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories and ensure testing complies with standards.
• Review submittals and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure rework items are corrected promptly and communicate with management.
