Job summary

Paycom - ATS requires an experienced quality inspector to verify steel fabrication parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, document non-conformities, and ensure welds meet AWS D1.1 standards where applicable.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, coordinating with welders, and using cranes/forklifts to move materials on the shop floor. A minimum of two years in steel fabrication inspection is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of steel fabrication inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Familiar with welding inspection and weld test protocols.
• AWS D1.1 welding code familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and final product.
• Document non-conformities and communicate findings.
• Certify welders and oversee testing such as hydrostatic or dye penetrant.
• Operate cranes and forklifts to move materials.
