Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks a Principal Quality Control Engineer - Electrical/ I&C Inspector in Aiken, SC to lead quality activities on a complex government contract. The role requires DOE clearance eligibility, ASME NQA-1 experience, and strong supervisory skills.

A broad program in QMS and inspection planning is involved. The position oversees inspection plans, field QC activities, documentation, and training for personnel, with a 40-hour week and potential overtime to meet

Qualifications

• Quality control leadership across construction management
• Coordinate quality activities and reporting to site leadership
• Experience with ASME NQA-1 and DOE programs preferred
• DOE clearance or active eligibility required
• Ability to develop and review inspection plans and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide quality control support to construction management and direct personnel to implement quality requirements.
• Establish priorities supporting construction/operations needs and meet deliverables.
• Resolve complex problems by coordinating with internal and external departments and drive safety and quality culture.
• Participate in contract discussions related to quality activities and prepare status reports.
• Review subcontractors quality procedures and monitor adherence to those procedures.
• Coordinate QC engineers and other departments to ensure compliance with site specs and standards.
• Prepare quality procedures for inspection, testing and surveillance activities.
• Deliver effective QC training and ensure staff qualifications for tasks.
• Prepare performance evaluations of assigned personnel.
• Develop and peer-review QC inspection plans for electrical and I&C.
