Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated Principal Quality Control Engineer – Electrical Inspector to contribute to our mission supporting Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC. You will develop and perform QA inspection plans for electrical and I&C, conduct field inspections, document findings, and verify conformance to drawings and standards in a DOE/ASME environment.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and potential security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a technical field with 8–10 years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience performing quality control inspections in construction environments
• Knowledge of ASME NQA-1 quality program and DOE work environments
• Ability to pass federal background investigations and obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C
• Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans
• Document inspection results and issue non-conformance reports
• Review product and process compliance against drawings, specifications, and requirements
