Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI. The role focuses on QC inspections and testing across disciplines including concrete, piling, rebar, and electrical.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and at least 5 years of design-build or heavy civil construction QA experience, with strong knowledge of contract specs and QC procedures. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in design-build or heavy civil construction testing, inspection, or QA for large public works.
• 5+ years of QA/inspection experience in concrete, piling, rebar, structural, earthwork, electrical, etc.
• Strong understanding of contract specifications for QC/QA.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (preferred).
• ACI or similar certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and testing for assigned disciplines.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure document accuracy.
• Develop and implement QC procedures and test plans.
• Coordinate QC inspection schedules with other departments.
• Assist audits and reviews of QC programs.
• Review procurement documents for QC compliance.
