Job summary

BermudAir seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality & Compliance Department, promoting regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and safety across the airline. This role reports to the VP of Quality & Compliance and oversees the Company Quality Assurance System and audits, maintaining independence from line management and the work being assessed.

The position combines remote work with travel to operational facilities, supporting risk management, Safety Management System

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent auditing experience.
• At least 10 years in a related industry, with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Certification in Quality Assurance or Compliance Auditing; risk management experience.
• Strong policy development, investigations, and safety skills with solid organization.
• Regulatory knowledge, problem-solving, and process improvement focus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with Quality Assurance and Control standards, applicable regulations, and corporate objectives.
• Lead and coordinate internal and self-audits, maintain audit records, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
• Support risk management, Safety Management System monitoring, and procedural compliance.
• Ensure contractor compliance in maintenance and ground handling.
• Support station openings, conversions, and participate in safety meetings.
