Job summary

BermudAir is seeking a dedicated Quality Auditor to join our Quality & Compliance Department. This role involves evaluating safety management systems, aviation regulations, and company processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

You will conduct internal audits, assess OTARs/FARs, review SMS processes, prepare detailed reports, and support corrective actions while coordinating with other departments. Remote work with some travel for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in aviation with quality assurance auditing and compliance management.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and risk management.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, AS9100, or AS9110 certifications preferred.
• Experience with reporting platforms and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal evaluations and compliance audits across all departments.
• Assess compliance with aviation regulations, including OTARs and FARs, and company procedures.
• Verify Safety Management System processes and review operational processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and support corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Oversee third-party quality systems and contractor compliance.
• Provide compliance guidance and support proactive safety culture initiatives.
