Job summary

BermudAir is seeking a proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our Quality & Compliance Department. This full-time role supports audits, tracks certifications, maintains regulatory documentation, and promotes a strong safety and compliance culture across the airline.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to meet regulatory and operational needs. You will monitor aviation regulations, coordinate audits, and prepare reports for leadership, while developing training and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, aeronautics, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4+ years' experience in aviation operations or regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Strong organisational and computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience with Safety Management Systems and audit management software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret applicable aviation regulations and industry best practices; communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare required documentation.
• Conduct compliance reviews, track certifications, training records, and audit findings.
• Maintain reporting databases and compliance tracking tools.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions; participate in Safety Action Groups as applicable.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Prepare compliance reports; keep leadership informed of compliance concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in developing and delivering compliance training and promote procedural compliance.
