McLane Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Houston to lead QA staff, partner with DC Operations, and drive food safety and regulatory compliance. You will conduct audits, track KPIs, and develop SOPs and training programs, ensuring alignment with federal and state requirements.

You will oversee corrective actions, mentor QA technicians, and participate in EMP and shelf-life projects. A strong background in HACCP, PCQI, and internal auditing is preferred, with 4+ years in QA roles.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• HACCP knowledge/certification
• PCQI preferred
• GFSI practitioner or equivalent preferred
• Internal Auditor experience/certification preferred, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 / PrimusGFS

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage assigned Quality Assurance staff and support personnel.
• Partner with Distribution Center Operations to identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues.
• Conduct product quality surveillance throughout warehouse/operations areas.
• Perform daily quality audits, collect data, and present quality KPIs.
• Provide floor coverage, training, coaching, and oversight for QA technicians.
• Conduct weekly and monthly food-safety audits.
• Develop and monitor corrective action plans and follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local food-safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and related training programs.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports covering Food Safety, Safety, Training, and KPIs.
• Communicate quality and safety results across departments.
• Participate in projects: EMP, shelf-life programs, product specs, sampling, food-safety initiatives.
