Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a food manufacturing client in Brenham, TX. You will lead QA and Food Safety programs across dressings, sauces, and marinades operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires HACCP and PCQI certifications, SQF practitioner experience, and strong project-management skills to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Science or Technology, Engineering, Biological Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in QA, Food Safety, or related experience in food manufacturing.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications required; SQF Practitioner and GFSI/SQF experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Site SQF Practitioner and PCQI, ensuring SQF/FSMA compliance.
• Lead day-to-day QA and Food Safety systems improvement, incl. documentation, CAPA, and verification.
• Own and maintain FSQA programs (Food Safety Plan, SQF, GMPs, approvals, CAPA/OCAR, Environmental Monitoring, Food Defense, Allergen Control).
• Provide direct leadership to QA personnel—coaching, development, staffing, training, and cross-training.
• Drive cross-functional corrective actions and audit findings with timely completion and verification.
