McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Safety & QA Special Project Manager to ensure QA requirements are met across operations and to lead safety initiatives. They will manage QA documents, audits, and inspections while coordinating with regulatory entities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in warehousing, QA, and safety, with strong Excel/Office skills. This full-time position supports enterprise-wide quality and safety objectives within a large distribution network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of warehousing, distribution, QA, and safety experience
• Experience managing, training, and directing large work groups
• Experience with planning and analytical reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to read/write in English

Responsibilities

• Act as a content expert for quality assurance and understand all customer QA requirements and government regulations
• Maintain procedures and training manuals to ensure QA compliance
• Perform internal mock audits and serve as primary contact for QA audits
• Facilitate federal, state and local inspections and document site visits
• Conduct internal QA inspections and maintain QA records and logs
• Ensure operations comply with government regulations (DOT, OSHA, local/state) and handle additional duties as assigned
