Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure the technical accuracy and quality of integrated security systems across the project lifecycle. The role acts as an independent reviewer of bids, designs, submittals, and test procedures, working with Engineering and Field Teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in low-voltage systems or physical security.
• Strong knowledge of system layouts and construction documents.
• Ability to obtain US government clearance and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quality control reviews of estimates, proposals, submittals, and system designs for accuracy and adherence to contract requirements.
• Review project documentation for completeness, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Identify design deficiencies and risks, recommending corrective actions prior to execution.
• Perform independent peer reviews of engineering deliverables and provide feedback to teams.
• Verify system designs against contract requirements, site conditions, manufacturer specs, and company standards.
• Review submittal packages including drawings, calculations, testing procedures, manuals, and closeout documents.
