Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security seeks a Project Engineer in Tacoma to design and support integrated security systems including Access Control, CCTV, and Perimeter systems. You will collaborate with Business Development and Field Operations to ensure seamless integration of solutions and drive project success.

The role requires a BA/BS in Engineering, knowledge of system layouts and wiring diagrams, strong communication, and willingness to travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites. CAD experience is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of system layouts, wiring diagrams, and construction documents.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid enhanced driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design Electronic Security System (ESS) projects with accurate CAD drawings, bid reviews, and cut buildouts.
• Evaluate electrical systems and components for compliance with codes and specifications.
• Confirm system capabilities by designing testing methods and conducting tests.
• Provide engineering information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support System Engineers, Technicians, and Project Managers through the design process.
• Collaborate on development and finalization of competitive proposals.
• Attend educational workshops and maintain required certifications.
• Travel to job sites for compliance checks, proposal deliveries, and site surveys.
• Submit regular status reports to the Director of Engineering or assigned Supervisor.
• Maintain and use company-standardized tools and software.
