The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash Buttons, and Amazon Echo.

The Role:

We are a passionate team applying cutting-edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges that will transform our customers’ experiences. As a QAE, you will work with a talented team building exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including Amazon Robotics.

You will lead test and infrastructure development, test new designs and architectural choices that significantly impact our systems, business, and customers. You will work directly with Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and TPMs to ensure the quality of our applications and platforms.

The test software you develop should expose defects in hardware, services, application code, and at component and feature integration levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
2. 4+ years of experience delivering test frameworks, tools, and leading QA projects
3. Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a QAE role
4. Experience in manual testing
5. Experience in automation testing
6. 2+ years of UI Automation experience (preferably on mobile platforms)
7. Knowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, or Objective C

Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $207,400 annually, depending on location, experience, and skills.
