Job summary

Pearson seeks a Lead Specialist, Technical Architect (Quality) for ExamDeveloper in the United States. You will set quality strategy and drive automated testing across multiple Agile teams, mentoring engineers and shaping the QA roadmap.

You will review complex QA scenarios, influence testing practices, and maintain high release confidence while collaborating with product and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional quality engineering, software testing, or test automation experience.
• 3+ years operating as a domain-level quality expert across complex, distributed platforms.
• Demonstrated influence on quality practices, automation frameworks, or standards across multiple teams.
• Deep experience with test automation strategy, tooling, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the ExamDeveloper quality system and release confidence.
• Partner with Product Architect and Engineering leadership on long-term automation strategy.
• Drive improvements to make testing more automated, efficient, and aligned to business risk.
• Establish quality metrics to inform decision-making and measure automation health.
• Mentor senior quality engineers and build quality capability across teams.
• Provide technical oversight of QA practices and test artifacts for maintainability and quality.
