Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, Texas is seeking a Sr. Quality Systems Engineer (Starlink) to advance our quality management system and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100.

The role involves auditing, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support Starlink hardware. You will lead internal and supplier audits, drive CAPA actions, and help translate customer requirements into effective policies and metrics, while working onsite at Bastrop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• ASQ CQA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Responsibilities

• Provide management system training and guidance to SpaceX management, departments, and internal customers
• Build, implement, and improve policy, procedures and systems meeting objectives to ensure customer requirements and standards
• Assess business processes and products through internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100
• Utilize corrective and preventive action processes to address non-conformances and drive improvement
• Initiate changes to management system procedures and lead implementation
• Support internal audits, vendor audits, and external audits
