Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to support Starlink program initiatives. The role focuses on improving the quality management system and ensuring ISO 9001 compliance across design, manufacturing, and suppliers. Hands-on audits and process improvements will be routine.

You'll define the QMS, drive corrective and preventive actions, and partner with cross-functional teams to minimize risk and maintain Starlink product quality as the company scales globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM required.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.
• Strong root-cause analysis and corrective action skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define and regularly update Starlink's Quality Management System (QMS) and train staff on ISO 9001 requirements.
• Assess core processes, systems, and products through internal audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Use corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve the QMS and product quality.
• Support internal, vendor, and external audits as needed.
• Identify major quality risks in manufacturing and collaborate with stakeholders to minimize them.
