Job summary

Milestone Inc. seeks a Residential QIDP to lead interdisciplinary programming for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will train direct care staff, develop and monitor individualized training plans, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and RSC to align health needs with daily programming. You will act as a lead member of the IDT, coordinate assessments, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Bachelor’s Degree in human services field.
• At least 1 year’s experience in developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to intervene physically in a crisis.
• Good driving record and valid license; travel between sites.
• Must qualify for QIDP status on the QIDP registry.

Responsibilities

• Functions as trainer for direct care staff in training programs.
• Acts as residential QIDP for assigned individuals.
• Develops and monitors training programs to maximize independence.
• Completes documentation and coordinates with IDT and health staff.
• Leads meetings, prepares annual and quarterly reviews, and shares program status.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with guardians and families as needed.
