We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Underwriter responsible for auditing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-Agency loans. The role involves reviewing credit, capacity, compliance, and collateral characteristics of loan files to ensure they meet investor quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-funding quality control reviews of loans from Retail and Correspondent divisions.
• Participate in remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Sellers.
• Monitor implementation of action plans based on QC findings.
• Communicate defects effectively to internal and external parties.
• Assist in developing QC audit and project plans.
• Analyze reports and data to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Quality Control questions.
• Participate in validation and remediation of post-close QC and review findings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the mortgage industry, with at least 5 years recent QC and Underwriting experience.
• Understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry standards.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and Federal regulations.
• Basic fraud detection knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate typically $46.00 (Nevada). Salary varies by location. Eligible for bonuses/incentives.
