Acuren Inspection is currently hiring a Chemistry Technician in the United States. Local applicants only.

You will prepare specimens and perform routine chemical analyses of metallic and polymeric samples using a variety of instruments and techniques. The position requires a 2-4 year science degree or technical certification, strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year science degree or technical certification required.
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• English communication skills including basic grammar and spelling.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background screens.

Responsabilités

• Prepare specimens and perform routine chemical analyses of metallic and polymeric samples.
• Preserve specimen integrity and identity following standard operating procedures.
• Utilize ICP-OES, combustion, inert gas fusion, FTIR and ion chromatography for elemental determinations.
• Interact with clients to review work instructions and test results.
• Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Inventory and order consumables.
• Prepare analytical reports and documentation.
