Technical Management Group seeks a qualified QC Manager for a 12‑month heavy civil site work project in Indianapolis, IN. You will lead field QC inspections, oversee third‑party testing labs, track material certifications, and ensure strict adherence to engineering plans and specifications.

The role requires 5–10 years of QC or site management experience on heavy civil projects, with strong ability to read civil drawings and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of direct quality control or field inspection on heavy civil, site development or earthwork projects.
• Experience reading and interpreting civil drawings, grading plans, utility profiles, and geotechnical reports.
• Certifications in construction QC or related testing are a plus, e.g., NICET, USACE CQM, OSHA 30.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily field QC inspections for site clearing, grading, mass earthwork, utilities, and concrete paving.
• Coordinate and oversee third‑party geotechnical and materials testing labs and verify submittals.
• Identify quality nonconformances, issue NCRs, and drive corrective actions with contractors and engineers.
• Maintain daily QC logs, review test results and material certifications, and produce weekly summaries.
• Hold pre‑activity quality alignment meetings with subcontractors before new work features begin.
