Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to support dam and lock electrical projects.

The QC Manager will implement and manage the QC program, coordinate inspections and testing, and ensure work meets contract requirements. Based in the Phoenix, AZ area, you will lead field and office QC activities, review submittals, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and promote a culture of quality through documentation and compliance with industry

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
