Richard Group in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the project quality control plan and ensure construction meets our standards of excellence.

The role requires reporting to a project site five days a week, housing allowance for relocation, and potential assignments to other US locations. We foster mentorship, accountability, and growth across our nationwide projects.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in a federal general contracting company
• CQCM certified; has administered the three phases of quality control on multiple projects
• Strong understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and building systems
• Experience in federal sector projects and healthcare projects
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam; able to write RFIs
• Willing to work all shifts (1st/2nd/3rd) for hospital construction

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement the construction sections of the project quality control plan (including the three phases of QC) per Federal, DoD, and Navy requirements
• Direct and approve correction of non-conforming or unsafe construction work
• Monitor and approve quality of materials, plans, surveys, fabrication, as-built drawings, and related work for compliance
• Review project plans for quality requirements
• Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions
• Direct inspections, testing and documentation
• Maintain knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, and subcontractors
• Maintain documentation including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal logs
• Ensure timely and safe completion of projects in accordance with safety goals and budgets
