Job summary

CMS Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and QC implementation on federal projects. Must have 5+ years as a QC Manager on projects over $4M; travel may be required with housing and travel covered.

Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $132,000 per year. Responsibilities include leading QC phases, coordinating testing agents, preparing QC plans and reports, and ensuring safety compliance on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably on federal projects over $4M
• Minimum 3–5 years in a CQCM role with increasing responsibility
• Certificate in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) course completed
• Experience with large-scale construction management and government contracts (Air Force, Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC) a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the three QC phases: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up
• Control daily technical and administrative QC functions
• Coordinate third-party testing agents per QC plan
• Prepare and manage the QC plan for each job
• Prepare and complete daily QC reports
• Ensure QC activities align with project schedules
• Manage project close-out/Red Zone to completion
• Coordinate safety and health on site projects
