Job summary

Waters Corporation in Taunton, MA seeks a Senior QC Lab Technician to support the manufacture of bulk chromatographic materials. You will perform QC testing and qualification at each manufacturing stage, ensuring high-quality analytical results and compliance with cGMP standards.

This onsite role requires independence and strong technical expertise. Responsibilities include HPLC/UPLC analyses, ICP/AAS metal testing, data processing, and maintaining accurate QC records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of QC/analytical lab experience.
• Master's in related field with 0–2 years of QC/analytical lab experience.
• Experience with ICP and AAS instrumentation for metal analysis is a plus.
• Experience with ICP, AAS, GC, HPLC, UPLC, UPC2, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry.
• Proficiency with Empower, LIMS, SAP, and MES software.
• Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, Medical Device, and ISO standards.
• Experience with scientific writing and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing and qualification of materials at manufacturing steps using various instruments and QC methods.
• Execute HPLC and UPLC analyses, including reagent prep, data generation, processing, and COA preparation.
• Document all work per Good Documentation Practices and maintain QC records; participate in audits.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Work independently, troubleshoot with minimal supervision, and interact with technical partners.
• Support and/or lead lab investigations (OOS, CAPA, NCRs) and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and perform calibrations; manage priorities and schedules.
