Qualifications
- 4+ years in QC or related analytical environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and ELISA techniques in an analytical lab.
- Experience in leadership or training roles within a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily workload of QC Technicians and Specialists, ensuring QC policies and standards are followed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical instruction and troubleshooting for the QC team.
- Perform routine release testing to support product and material disposition per methods and specs.
- Lead method development, optimization, and improvement activities; participate in validation.
- Lead technical transfers of analytical methods with proper documentation.
- Lead quality events and investigations with timely, thorough resolutions.
- Review and approve QC documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Audit inventory management in the laboratory for proper control and labeling.
