Job summary

B&A is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join a contract with a federal government client, supporting mission-critical objectives.

You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, perform system, integration and regression testing, and write acceptance criteria. The role requires hands-on automation with Rest Assured, Selenium, Postman, TestNG, and BDD frameworks, plus strong Java/JavaScript skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in writing and maintaining test scripts and test plans.
• 5 years of experience in writing and executing unit tests and test cases.
• 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using automated testing tools.
• 4 years of experience in participating in and facilitating requirements gathering sessions.
• 2 years of experience documenting business and systems requirements including user stories with acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and test cases.
• Engage in systems testing, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Review and document functional requirements with team lead and develop estimates.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools Rest Assured, Selenium and Postman using TestNG and BDD framework.
• Hands on in Core Java and JavaScript.
• Log and retest defects found and produce test results.
