Remotestar Team is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for enterprise-grade products.

You will design and maintain comprehensive test plans, build automated frameworks for web, API, and integration tests, and drive CI/CD integration to enable continuous testing across pipelines.

The role requires hands-on work with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, plus strong SQL and API testing skills in a fast-moving Agile environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for automation development.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
• Advanced SQL skills for backend validation and data reconciliation.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail.

Responsabilidades

• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle and ensure product quality for customers.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Translate business workflows and complex domain requirements into effective test strategies.
• Lead defect management, including root cause analysis, bug triage, and release sign-off.
• Validate complex business logic, calculations, and mathematical operations.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL, database analysis, and Excel.
• Test and validate RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and service reliability.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, APIs, and integration workflows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual effort.
