Job summary

Kitu Systems is seeking a Senior Software QA Test Engineer to lead a team building tests and automation for our smart energy products. You will drive testing across frontend and backend applications, develop automated suites, and ensure quality standards are met before release.

Ideal candidates have hands-on testing experience, strong Python skills, and experience with UNIX/Linux. This role offers remote flexibility, equity, and growth opportunities within a fast-growing energy tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Ability to debug/troubleshoot issues in software applications and hardware/operating systems.
• Networking experience.
• Working knowledge of Git and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead test team and develop automated test suites.
• Build networks/environments for system testing.
• Triage issues and drive bug resolution with the development team.
• Ensure products meet agreed quality standards before delivery.
• Document test procedures and communicate findings clearly.
