Job summary
Hired is seeking a Software QA Engineer to lead test strategy across products. You will combine deep test engineering with collaboration across product and engineering to build confidence in every release.
This role is fully remote with flexible hours, a performance-based bonus, and an annual learning stipend. You will develop automated tests for web, mobile, and API, mentor teammates, and help shape quality definitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in software QA with strong automation focus.
- Experience with web, mobile, and API testing.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Excellent written communication and bug reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead test strategy and planning for major features and releases.
- Build automated test frameworks across web, mobile, and API.
- Conduct performance, load, and security testing as needed.
- Mentor junior QA team members and review coverage.
- Collaborate with product and engineering on quality definitions.
- Drive continuous QA process improvements and tooling.
