Job summary

Nectir is hiring a QA Engineer focused on test automation for a fast-moving education tech product. You will build and maintain automated tests, reduce QA turnaround time, and own parts of the PR queue with engineers to ensure fast, reliable releases.

The role is full-time and remote, open to candidates in the US and Latin America. You will work closely with the QA and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software, with measurable improvements in release confidence and test coverage.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with hands-on code shipping experience.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation in production.
• Comfortable pushing back when processes aren’t ready to ship.
• Product-first instincts to align technical solutions with goals.

Responsibilities

• QA & Test Automation: evaluate and implement automated testing tools (Playwright-based frameworks) and write/maintain scripts.
• PR Queue & Developer Collaboration: own visibility into PR queue and establish effective Dev–QA handoffs.
• Release Reliability: design phased rollouts and grow towards software reliability engineering.
