Kitu Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software QA Test Engineer to lead a team responsible for tests, automation, and validation of our smart energy products. You will develop scripts, build test environments, and drive issue resolution with engineers.

The right candidate has hands-on experience in Python, frontend and backend testing, UNIX/Linux, and excellent communication, with a passion for high-quality software delivery. Remote-friendly role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years testing experience.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Experience programming with Python.
• Experience testing frontend and backend applications.
• Experience developing automated test suites.
• Experience with UNIX and/or Linux.
• Experience writing documentation, test procedures.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting test failures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of test engineers and build tests and automation.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate testing.
• Build network environments for system testing.
• Perform system tests and triage issues from testing.
• Drive bug resolution with the development team.
