Job summary

Arkema is seeking a Quality Technician to perform in-process and final testing for our production lines. The role ensures product quality, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications through execution of quality procedures.

The QA Lab Technician will support production by verifying materials, testing samples, and communicating results to process engineers. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with SAP are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–5 years in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work off-shift and/or 12 hour shifts.
• Attention to detail and strong math skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials in production.
• Test in-process and final samples according to test methods.
• Communicate results to production and process engineers.
• Ensure data accuracy and precision of test equipment.
• Operate lab computer systems (SAP) and supporting software.
• Calibrate instruments.
• Provide non-routine testing for corrective actions or process improvements.
• Participate in the facility's Internal Audit program.
• Follow all safety requirements and practice good housekeeping.
• Maintain general lab upkeep and organize lab supplies.
• Set up SAP QC testing plans for new products and raw materials.

Quality Technician

As a QA Lab Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for all in-process/final testing associated with the production, manufacturing and release of products. The purpose of the testing is to make sure products are made safely, and both customer expectations and specifications have been met. The lab tech executes the procedures and methods associated with the quality systems.

The QA Lab Technician will be responsible for the support of production in:

• Verification of Raw Materials:
• Testing of in-process/final samples according to test methods:
• Communication results to production and process engineers.
• Responsible for accuracy of data and precision of test equipment.
• The use of laboratory computer systems (SAP) and other supporting software.
• Calibration of instruments
• Provide non-routine testing associated with corrective actions or process improvements.
• Participate in facility's Internal Audit program
• Following all safety requirements
• Practice good housekeeping
• General maintenance of the lab
• Set up SAP QC testing plans for new products and raw materials
• Maintain Inventory of all lab supplies

Qualifications
