Job summary

Turnkey Technical Services LLC seeks a Principal Quality Assurance/Control Engineer to lead QA/QC programs for DOE-related projects. You will define scopes, guide teams, and ensure compliance with QA requirements across facilities.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, field walk-downs, and collaboration with management and customers. The ideal candidate has extensive QA/QC/engineering experience in industrial settings, with preference for those holding active or recent DOE clearances and

Qualifications

• BS in technical discipline with 8–10 years QA/QC/engineering in operations, maintenance, construction or manufacturing
• AS/AA with 10–12 years QA/QC/engineering experience in operations, maintenance, construction or manufacturing
• High school diploma with 16+ years of multi‑disciplinary QA or engineering experience in operations, maintenance, construction or manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Define scope of technical and quality engineering programs and develop effective QA solutions for complex problems
• Provide leadership and guidance to less senior professionals on QA tasks
• Perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site for engineering work and site safety
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and QA documentation based on surveillance and reviews
• Serve on a Facility Review Board to support facility start-up and operation
• Ensure compliance with QA requirements within the assigned facility or program area
• Maintain awareness of advancing technology and QA methodology within the area of specialization
