Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Principal Quality Assurance/Control Engineer to support our client in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on defining QA programs, leading complex problem solving, and ensuring compliance with quality standards at the facility level.

The ideal candidate will have extensive mechanical and welding inspection experience, DOE clearance eligibility, and strong leadership abilities to guide junior staff and coordinate with management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Required: Mechanical and welding inspection or surveillance experience.
• Quality control, work control, materials management, or related areas.
• Ability to perform weekly field walk-downs at job site.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DOE "Q" clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of technical and quality engineering programs and develop quality solutions.
• Lead complex problem solving and guide less senior professionals.
• Develop QA programs and ensure compliance with QA requirements.
• Prepare plans with schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements.
• Serve on Facility Review Board to provide QA expertise during start-up or operation.
• Communicate objectives and results to customers and management.
• Participate in technical societies and QA initiatives.
• Evaluate QA programs of major participants and subcontractors.
