Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a QA/QC Superintendent for DFW, TX, on-site, to lead field quality planning and execution on commercial mechanical projects including HVAC and plumbing installations.

The role centers on establishing inspection discipline, developing QA/QC teams, coordinating testing and turnover, addressing deficiencies, and collaborating with construction leadership to ensure reliable systems and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification is highly preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.
• 8+ years in commercial mechanical construction, QA/QC, commissioning, or field leadership.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, controls, equipment installation, testing, docs and sequencing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital planning, project-management, inspection, commissioning, document-control, dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project quality plans, ITPs, staffing and documentation standards.
• Lead QA/QC kickoff directives aligned with contract requirements.
• Develop QA/QC project teams and coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, PMs and BIM.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, codes and commissioning plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, start-up, turnover and training.
• Conduct jobsite quality audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Report quality performance and risks to leadership.
• Build relationships with general contractors, owners and inspectors.
