Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for the DFW, TX area to govern quality processes on one or more commercial mechanical projects. You will develop project QA/QC plans, oversee inspections and turnover, and coordinate with field teams to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires five years in related construction fields, strong documentation and audit skills, and proficiency with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is a top priority for this search.
• Minimum of 5 years in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction, QA/QC, commissioning, or related work.
• Minimum of 3 years with QA/QC systems, documentation governance, audits, compliance, and turnover planning.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, controls, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to develop QA plans, conduct audits, analyze metrics, and lead quality meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project QA/QC plans, inspection/test plans, and turnover requirements.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, codes, and customer standards to set acceptance criteria.
• Schedule inspections, testing, and milestone walks with required participants.
• Govern QA/QC documentation across projects and track records for inspections and turnover.
• Conduct audits, report findings, trends, risks, and corrective actions to teams.
• Maintain deficiency logs and verify issue closure; track recurring problems.
• Prepare dashboards and metrics; lead root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Train project teams on QA/QC protocols and documentation standards.
